More red in my life!

I really struggle to work red into my interiors at home. I just can never keep it looking soft and fresh. These images however work beautifully and is just the inspiration I need to have more red in my life - looking pretty and fun. Have a lovely Friday. Can I say thank goodness it's Friday!! Kellie xx

I couldn't choose between these two heavenly spaces for today's inspiration. Now, let's all collectively exhale and pretend this is where we are!

Green White Bahtroom

Bubbly, green, sweet
Clean, white surfaces and straight lines form a fine base for all bathrooms – but this does not mean that you should avoid colours and patterns. White surfaces and white furniture give you extra space to experiment.
A straight-line massage bathtub from the ARTic range is perfect for tiling in with large, glossy white tiles.
And the straight lines are continued in the cabinet from the Logic range.
Here, it is the floor that provides the shapes and colours. Patterns from the plant kingdom generate a natural sense of well-being – particularly in bathrooms.

ARTFUL ARRANGEMENTS

Framed artworks and mirrors bring a bathroom to life, making every visit to the room an extra special experience. Tiles and bathroom furniture act as stenography. Black mosaic tiles on the walls and floor, combined with exclusively simple, white bathroom products create a slightly bare, but simultaneously warm and intimate background.

Minimalist Bathroom Interior Design

Minimalism requires a specific kind of perfection because everything in a minimalist space is totally exposed -- whether you have a small powder room or large master bath. The most important rule: Maximize any available space. While the minimalist style gets its beauty from simple lines, it can easily accommodate a seductive curve or two. Walls, floors, ceilings and any other surfaces, whether vertical (such as the shower enclosure or cabinet doors) or horizontal (such as shelving, and sinks and their surrounds or supporting counters), must be clean, crisp and as uninterrupted as possible.

Following this philosophy, some bathroom manufacturers offer space-saving and style-enhancing designs such as sleek wall-mounted fittings and fixtures. For example, Porcher’s collection of European-inspired, minimalist designs makes the most of any space. Porcher’s Nemea, by Italian artist and designer Enzo Mari, features a sharply angled ceramic sink and elegant ceramic shelves, with or without a towel bar, that hang like a cantilever off the wall. By focusing on your bathroom’s space and geometry, you’re ready to create an interior that’s simple and serene.

Big but small
If you cannot build a bigger bathroom, you can still trick the eye. By adding a mirrored panel to the front of your massage bathtub, you can create new surfaces and dimensions.
Light is important to well-being, too. Use the same “tricks” as are applied in authentic Oriental spas to create a sense of space with light from above. Choose light tiles, too.
Built-in cabinets with mirror doors produce even more clean surfaces. With so little to distract the eye, even small details can add personality to the room.
And warm water in motion brings relaxation to a body that has found its home.

Modern Bathroom Idea from Jacuzzi

Modern Bathroom Idea from Jacuzzi - Aura Bath is your choice for relaxation

Modern Bathroom Idea from Jacuzzi, bathroom, interior design
Overall, there is something chic, urban and faintly Oriental about this modern bathroom idea from Jacuzzi. The rectangular shape of the Aura bath gives it an exotic, Eastern feel, as does the black rim that puts the idea of a piece of exquisite lacquerware in mind. Decking allows the bathtub to be recessed and creates a dramatic touch… The ascent to the decked platform on which the bath is mounted gives a sense of ritual, and cares melt away as you slip into the water. Stark black open shelving provides a sophisticated and inclusive divider from the bedroom. Echoing the geometric shape of the tub is the Aura sink, which is itself mounted on a high-gloss platform to great effect. The combination of red and black also reveals the bathroom’s Eastern inspiration, but with a touch of olive green, the look becomes distinctly urban… the colors complementing the cityscape out the window!

Kenig Residence - Interior Design

The program of spaces was organized by floor. The basement was finished to become a casual family den-type room with a pool table and couches, etc. The ground floor level was opened up to become a loft-like living room and kitchen with an exterior wood deck floating outside, over the backyard. The second floor became the girls’ floor with bedrooms, a study, kid-lounge and bath. Bachelor retreat was the idea of the third and top floor, with a home office, bedroom and bath.

In the kitchen, the color palette is focused on black and silver. Countertops are Absolute Black granite with a laminate on upper cabinets and island that features an abstract aluminum pattern on a black background. Mid level cabinets and security doors are aluminum sheet, with a custom pattern of circles and ovals that creates an optical illusion that the sheet is bowed out when in fact it is entirely flat. The pattern was designed by Slade Architecture and water jet cut into the panel.
